Murni Apartment

UNITEN also provides Accommodation services to fulfill student’s needs. UNITEN have different apartments for female and male students. There are two types of apartments assigned for female students which are ILMU and MURNI apartments. Today I’m going to talk about MURNI apartment which is located near to COE Food Court. There are 3 blocks for MURNI apartments. It is contains four single bedrooms in one unit. These apartments half-furnished with apartment were built for their convenience.

In general, all the apartment units include the following facilities:

Room inventory

• Single bed mattress
• Side table
• Wardrobe
• Notice board
• A ceiling fan and lamp

• Chairs
• A rubbish bin

• Study table & chairs
• Study lamp
• Internet/computer port

UNITEN also assigned 1 whole block for married students only (Murni 3). These married apartments also can be rented by University staff at a different rate. The rental fees inclusive of the electricity and water bills and for the additional equipments no charges apply. It’s containing with several floor of nine-(9) story.

These blocks is furnished with:-

• One double bed
• One single bed
• Kitchen cabinet
• A sofa set
• A dining table
• A shoe rack
• A cupboard

They are also allowed to add additional equipment in the apartment such as:-

• Air-conditioning system
• Water heater
