Library

I am here to talk about UNITEN's library that is located at UNITEN (Putrajaya campus). This library was operated since year 1997 and located on the front portion of the campus. The library consists of 6 levels that provide students with reading areas and reading sources. Level 6 of the library is used as the examination hall for the students. There are different types of reading materials such as reference books, magazines, newspapers, etc. Beside these, the library also provides some computers at levels which can let students to surf internet easily. 

At the entrance of the library, there is a counter for the librarian. If we have problem of finding books, we can refer to the librarians. They will help us by guiding us with accurate location of the books. Near to the counter there are some computers known as OPAC which are used for searching the location of the readind materials.

 

Students are requested to display their student card and with proper attire when getting into the library. There are some shelves that have been put outside the entrance is provided for the students to put their stuffs because students are not allowed to bring bags, parcels, hand-phones, caps and umbrellas into the library.

The library is also provided study areas with tables and chairs so that students can have their own study areas. There are 2 types of tables for students: big tables are for a group of students who want to study in group and small tables are provided for individuals. During exam time, many students like to go library to study because it is a silent place that students can concentrate on their study.
